I didn’t come to this work through trends or theory.
I came to it because my body asked me to listen.
For years, I lived with debilitating period pain. The kind that made me call in sick, stay in bed, and plan my life around my cycle. Like so many women, I was told this was normal — just part of being a woman — and for a long time, I believed it.
But something in me knew there had to be another way.
Everything shifted after a deep naturopathic consultation that helped me see my hormonal health through a completely different lens. I began making mindful, supportive changes to how I ate, lived, and cared for my body — and by my very next cycle, my experience changed dramatically.
That moment completely shifted my relationship with my body and my hormonal health.
Driven by curiosity and a deep respect for the body’s intelligence, I began studying women’s metabolic and hormonal health more deeply. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive first-hand experience using fasting, mindful lifestyle and eating habits as a tool to support my own energy, cycle health, and overall wellbeing — and eventually became a certified fasting coach so I could guide other women with clarity and care.

What It Means to be MoonWise...
A woman’s menstrual cycle is often called her moon cycle because its average length closely aligns with the lunar cycle. The lunar cycle, (the time it takes for the moon to go from new moon to full moon and back), is about 29.5 days, which is very similar to the average menstrual cycle length of 28–30 days. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, a woman’s cycle naturally moves through phases of menstruation, ovulation, and hormonal shifts, reflecting a rhythm of growth, release, and renewal.
